Annapolis Copy and Print Plot Procedures. Follow our instructions for a perfect plot file and then FTP your plot files to us for prints. We will store your files electronically than you can call, e-mail or fax us with your re-print requests. If you need your hard copies shipped we are happy to do so using Federal Express or UPS, using either our account or yours.
Plotting Instructions
Making a Black & White Plot File
1.
Launch AutoCAD.
2.
Bring up the desired .DWG file to be plotted.
3.
Zoom extents and clean up any unwanted entities.
4.
Type "PLOT" at the command line.
5.
In the plot configuration window click on "Device and Default Selection" then pick the W.P.B. device driver.
6.
Click on "Pen Settings" to expose the pen setup window Set ALL pen width to ".010" Line types should all be set at "0" Speed should be blank Change the "Pen Numbers" to correspond with pen weights

Click on "Page Setup" and pick paper size desired.
8.
Click on "Rotation and Origin" and pick "0" rotation.
9.
Click "Extents" in the Additional Parameters box and activate "Plot To File" & "Adjust Area Fill".
10.
Enter the correct scale desired in the box provided.
11.
Click O.K. and watch the processing percentages and plot size displayed at command prompt line at the bottom of the screen. Make sure the size displayed is correct.
